In a few hours Xiaomi will finally announce its next models for the Mi 11 line, a series that gained prominence for being the first in the world to boast the powerful Snapdragon 888 chipset. Some sources revealed that the devices that will be made official today (29) are named as Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i and Mi 11 Lite in 4G and 5G versions.

In addition, the famous leaker Evan Blass has released official renders of each of the models, which helps us to have an idea of what to expect at the event in a moment, in addition to confirming details and rumors that have circulated on the net during the last few months. Blass is one of the most respected and trusted sources on the tech market and this time is no different. In addition to the images, some additional information was also revealed by the source.

Configured as the most modest hardware model in the series, the Mi 11 Lite will be offered with two connectivity options, 4G and 5G, as has been the custom of major smartphone manufacturers today. This strategy makes it possible to reach a greater number of potential consumers, especially where fifth-generation connectivity technology is not fully implemented, as is the case in Spain, for example.

Although there are two versions, the hardware is practically the same, except for the processor model. While the 4G version will be powered by the Snapdragon 732G, the 5G variant has the Snapdragon 780G under the hood. The other specifications of the Mi 11 Lite are the same for both editions, which means they come with a 6,55-inch AMOLED screen, FullHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The camera package consists of a 20MP front lens plus a rear module with a 64MP main lens. They should have options with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, powered by a 4.520mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology.

In addition to the different processor, the Mi 11 Lite 5G should arrive in China with the nomenclature Mi 11 Youth Edition, nickname of better acceptance for this specific market.

The Mi 11i should just be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Pro Plus, and if that's true, its datasheet will include the Snapdragon 888, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, 6,67-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD+ resolution and camera 108MP at the rear.

    My 11 Ultra

Talking now about the main model of the line, the Mi 11 Ultra must boast the best of the technologies already manufactured by Xiaomi. Starting with the camera configuration, the device will come with Samsung's newest ISOCELL GN2 image sensor, secondary screen at the rear, high heat dissipation system, battery produced with silicon anode compound, technology used in electric cars that promises to be more efficient and faster charging than conventional models.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will have a dedicated camera with 120x optical zoom

Now the information we got is about a high permeability pressure relief valve. The Mi 11 Ultra will come with IP68 certification, being the first Xiaomi model to have this feature. This is the highest dust and water resistance rating for electrical equipment, and it can guarantee survival when the device is submerged in water at a depth of 1,5 meters for up to 30 minutes.

But with this high permeability pressure relief valve, a system that basically takes its inspiration from professional diving watches, Xiaomi aims to guarantee underwater resistance at least twice as much as any model on the market today. We should have a better understanding of this technology once the Mi 11 Ultra is announced.

The other device information talks about a 6,81-inch S-AMOLED screen, QHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.
