This August 22nd marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and in celebration of the date, Xiaomi co-founder Lei Jun answered questions from users, and revealed that in addition to the first Xiaomi 5G smartphone, which was launched in May this year, the company is expected to launch another 5G smartphone in September.
Lei Jun also talked about the great opportunity that 5G brings to smartphone manufacturers. Xiaomi has been preparing for 3 years with various 5G technologies, which in Lei Jun's opinion, is "just getting started". The 5G network will start operating almost fully in the second quarter of next year, and with that, the company is preparing to launch and popularize 5G devices on a massive scale.
Last week, on August 15th, Xiaomi had officially announced: that the 'Three certificates are complete', and that Xiaomi's second 5G smartphone is about to be released. Previously, Xiaomi 5G smartphone already had 3C certification (mandatory certification in China), network access license, but no commission approval certificate. On August 9, China Unicom officially exposed a huge wave of 5G smartphones to be listed in the future, and the Xiaomi Mi 9S was also among them.
According to TENAA, the Xiaomi M1908F1XE model is the Xiaomi Mi 9S. The smartphone comes with a 45W charger (power adapter model MDY-10-EX). This is the highest charging power of all Xiaomi smartphones (27W for Xiaomi Mi 9).
