The internet has an appointment with Xiaomi next Monday, March 29, the day when we will finally have the official presentation of the long-awaited Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra flagships. However, as expected, as the launch approaches, new details are revealed, and today (26), we received a teaser that confirms a new battery system on the beefier model in the line.
The Mi 11 Ultra will be a showcase of technology in smartphone format, as the device is expected with a super camera, accompanied by a small screen on the back, in addition to a sound system recognized by Harman Kardon, and now, a battery based in electric car technology.
On Twitter, senior marketing manager Daniel Hoang Desjarlais revealed that the Mi 11 Ultra will have a silicon-oxygen anode battery, a type of system that manages to be thinner, lighter and have incredibly faster charging than the conventional method, thanks to the addition of silicon in the negative electrode, or anode. What to expect from the Mi 11 Ultra?
Dubbed as Xiaomi's newest flagship, the Mi 11 UItra will sport a 6,81-inch AMOLED screen with Quad HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Like the original Mi 11, which launched last December, the new flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 888, the most powerful processor made by Qualcomm today. Another interesting aspect about the setup is that it will come with IP68 certification and stereo sound system.
It is likely that you are curious to know the price of this beauty, and to confirm this, let's wait for the official announcement that takes place on the 29th. During the event, the company should announce or at least give clues to several devices. The Mi 11 Ultra will be accompanied by the Mi 11 Pro, and who knows a Mi 11 Lite, in addition to a possible new Mi MIX, a new Mi Pro notebook and a new air conditioner with smartphone integration.
