After announcing the Mi 10 line last week, Xiaomi decided to make a new Bluetooth speaker official: the Mi Outdoor, which hits the market with a minimalist design and battery that promises to deliver great autonomy in daily use.
The Mi Outdoor has a plastic construction and fabric finish on the outside, being very similar to the material found in smart speakers like Amazon Echo and Google Home Mini. It is also very compact, and for users to be able to carry it, Xiaomi has inserted a small handle.
The company also claims that there is an internal 5W speaker, which should deliver quality sound in not too large environments, and support for Bluetooth 5.0. The speaker also supports Google Assistant and other options thanks to its microphone, as well as being able to make and receive voice calls. An auxiliary output and microUSB port are other features.

Considering that we are talking about a device intended for outdoor use, the new Xiaomi speaker comes with IPX5 certification, making it possible to use it by the pool without fear of causing any kind of problem.
To keep the Mi Outdoor on, we have a 2.000 mAh battery, which, according to the Chinese manufacturer, can offer an autonomy of up to 20 hours of continuous use. In addition, there are only the play buttons, which were placed on the side.
So far, the new speaker is only sold in India. There, its price is 1.399 rupees, something around R$ 84. Unfortunately, we still don't know if Xiaomi intends to market it in other markets.
