Microsoft launches new interface for Xbox One X, preparing for Series X

Microsoft has recently started releasing a new update for the Xbox One. The new update brings as its main novelty the redesign of the user interface that is part of a major change that will unify the appearance of the platform on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC and mobile devices. However, for now, the novelty will only be available to participants in the Xbox Inseders program (or beta testers).

The home page has a cleaner look, and with the redesign of the layout, it should facilitate navigation between the panel's features, games and applications. Those unfamiliar with the mechanics of the Xbox UI will be helped by custom tips to help them better understand how it works. There has also been a small change to the activity feed, where there is now more focus on shared content.

Now with the new layout we have a unified inbox, which will bring together all alerts, game invite and message notifications (including the upcoming Xbox Mobile app). This system will be synced with all devices and when it is released on other platforms, all actions took place as a single system.

Microsoft combined Parties and Chats into a single tab a few months ago, and now a few more features have been added to it. It will be possible to view the messages and the volume can be individually controlled for each member of the group.
