Microsoft wants to know if its players want DualSense features

The PlayStation 5 arrived with several interesting news. The new generation of consoles always excites gamers for various reasons and this time was no different. One of the main highlights of the PS5 is the DualSense controller, which allows for even more interesting and immersive experiences with its adaptive triggers and other features. The new controller was really successful among gamers, even arousing Microsoft's interest in knowing if its players want the DualSense functionalities on the Xbox controller.

Xbox Series X/S owners received a survey that asks a number of questions about customer satisfaction levels of Microsoft's new consoles. The questions talk about Hardware, accessories, interface and more. What stands out the most is the direct question about the Sony controller, asking Xbox fans what DualSense features they would like to see on the Xbox controller.

The Xbox controller brings little news

DualSense features new features that were well received by gamers. With the feedback system and adaptive triggers, the controller offers great immersion, making changes in pressure and response depending on each situation, including adapting to each type of weapon in shooting games and locking the trigger if weapons are stuck. On the Xbox, the controller changes were small and without much expression. The peripheral has a new sharing button and roughness that prevents the controller from slipping from the players' hands.

The survey does not necessarily mean that we will see DualSense features being used by Microsoft, but it is a good indication that the new Xboxes may soon receive such features.

In the survey, Microsoft even asked gamers whether the Xbox Series X looks like a Next Gen console and whether it's the fastest console users have ever used.
