MIUI 11 will gain advanced screen calibration feature

MIUI 11, Xiaomi's newest interface, is now available for several of the company's smartphones, ranging from the cheapest to the high-end. The system delivers improvements and some interesting news, such as a new font, nature sounds, dark mode and Always-On, for example.

However, according to XDA Developers, Xiaomi has started testing a new feature for its interface. These are sliders that deliver advanced calibration of screen colors. With this tool, users will be able to choose from four available standards which include: advanced, original, P3 and sRGB.

For those who want something more precise, the company has also added small "bars" that can be controlled to individually choose the color level of red, green and blue. Hue, saturation, HSV value, gamma and contrast have also been given the slider.

When any adjustments are made, the changes are displayed in real time on the photo placed just above the settings. All changes are automatically saved by the system, but there is an option that allows you to discard or restore factory defaults.

Unfortunately, there is still no information that reveals when Xiaomi intends to start rolling out this new feature in the stable version of MIUI 11. In addition, we also do not know if advanced screen calibration will arrive on all models compatible with the new interface. Therefore, we will have to wait for a statement from the company that indicates when the release will take place.
