One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 gets Giant Boss Battle online co-op mission trailer

In December last year, four online co-op mission modes for the game One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 had been revealed in the Japanese magazine Weeklly Jump. It was not known for sure what the game experience would be like, but it was recently revealed by Bandai Namco a new trailer showcasing one of the online co-op mission modes.

In the new trailer we see details of the "Giant Boss Battle" mode, where four players will be able to battle in the same scenario against a great Boss (boss) such as Yonko Kaido. In the video we see a battle against the character Pika (or Pica), one of the companions of the pirate Doflamingo, who appears for the first time on the island Dressrosa. In the game, there will be a moment when the player will arrive in the Dressrosa saga, in which Luffy arrives on the island and finds the entire population of the country being controlled by the Ex-shichibukai.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 continues in the same vein since its first version, where you control Luffy and his companions, as well as other characters that go through the story of the crew throughout their adventures. The player moves around the scenario deferring attacks against hundreds of enemies (literally) in search of completing the objectives required to pass the stage in which he is. The game's graphics received improvements over previous versions and, of course, increased the story to accompany the animation of the work.

I remember importing a Japanese game for the first time to Plastation 3 just because of the One Piece work. As they were saying that I didn't really need to read what was being said in Japanese and the game's menu was easy to get the mechanism, I decided to take a risk and buy the first great game of the pirates. I didn't regret it one bit, because the game is based on the animation story, where you go through several iconic scenarios controlling one of the characters from One Piece and deferring several attacks against hundreds of enemies (literally) that fly through the air.

Three versions have been announced for One Piece Pirate Warriors 4, the standard, the deluxe and the collector's version, which you can check out here. The title will be released on March 26, 2020 in Japan for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam). For the west the game will be released a day later, March 27.
