Since its release, Death Stranding, despite criticism from some, has generally received good praise from critics. This ended up generating a very clear division of ratings, at least absurd, from users on Metacritic. The ratings were simply either 0 or 10 in general, that is, it is not really a sincere analysis of the game, but a "war" between players for the final grade of the game on the platform.
Due to this no-nonsense vote, Death Stranding's rating dropped to 6,1 and then to 5,1. However, the title's overall score has increased significantly in the last 24 hours. As reported on Reddit, it seems that simply 6000 negative reviews were removed from the site, thus causing the score to rise. Death Stranding currently has a score of 7,3.
This is not the first case in which the team responsible for the Metacritic website has made an adjustment to the score of certain games. And have no doubt, there will be more cases like this, as player behavior is sometimes ignorant rather than sensible. Honestly, it is not possible to understand why people waste their time doing this type of action instead of playing and having fun, even with other games, after all, the site was made to be an evaluation tool and not a "warrior" of "beast" interests.
Death Stranding, developed by studio Kojima Productions, was released in early November and is available, for now, only for the Playstation 4 (PS4) platform. In the third quarter of next year a PC version will be released.
