Sony has not yet commented on the increase

Previously, the console had showed a drop in price thanks to tax cuts, which meant that many Spanish gamers could secure a PlayStation 5 for a lower price than what was originally announced with the console.

The decrease in prices even made stores refund part of the value to customers who had purchased the console at the old price, as well as on certain occasions buyers received other products to reduce this value.

Now an explanation for the PlayStation 5 price readjustment could be the fact that the dollar increase more and more in recent months, with currency being a real problem for all Spaniards.
