PS5 may have had its price revealed on Carrefour's French website

Everyone wants to know how much the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles will cost. This information is very important if we consider that many are holding back to buy products and are planning to do their best to not be in need due to the Coronavirus pandemic. With that in mind, Carrefour, one of the biggest retail stores in France, recently opened pre-sales for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

In addition to the consoles, Carrefour's French website also listed all the accessories that were announced for the video game. The blog PhonAndroid managed to take a screenshot of the supermarket's website, where there were prices. Soon after, the website page was taken down, which leads us to believe that the chance of the values ​​being real is high.

According to Carrefour's website, the PS5 Digital Edition will cost €399, while the regular Playstation 5 version will cost €499. These values ​​are in line with some rumors that have emerged, and if we take into account the values ​​​​of the PS4 at launch, the console will cost the same amount in dollars (US$399 for the digital version and US$499 for the version with disc player).

While it's interesting to see the PS5's values ​​match the rumors that have surfaced earlier, it's strange to see that PS5 accessory prices are all $49,90, which is very unlikely to actually happen.

Unfortunately, Xbox Series X prices didn't end up leaking, even though the site has the console for pre-order with the words "coming soon".
