PUBG's new season brings a new map and elements with never-before-seen mechanics

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds Update 10.1 will be available for PC on December 16th, and available a day later for consoles. The update brings to the game a new map called Haven, which will provide a new unique experience for players.

Haven promises to be the densest map in PUBG, putting 32 players in a 1v1 situation, in the middle of an urban environment full of vertical buildings and diverse combat possibilities. As an industrial island, Haven has many regions that will become fierce battlegrounds. A carbon steel mill, coal deposits, an overpass and docks are all present in the new map, as are an industrial zone and a rural zone.

Haven will also bring a new enemy faction, called Pillar, that will roam the map demanding attention and care from players.

• Emergency parachutes: Haven has a wide variety of high places, buildings and highways. Due to the map that features many vertical locations, the developers added the emergency parachute to the title, allowing survivors to jump from strategic locations, being able to use the new mechanics to escape complicated situations and to move more quickly through the regions of the new map .

• Survivor's Pass: Breakthrough: With all the gear needed to survive in Haven, the pass offers new skins inspired by the characters' and new faction's history, as well as a host of other rewards across its 100 levels.
