Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 9 smartphone line in March for the entire international market, except for its homeland of China. However, starting this week, that should change, as next Thursday (26), the company should announce the Redmi Note 9 lineup with 5G technology for the Chinese market.
As a reminder, what we know so far is that Xiaomi is interested in launching three new models for the line with tentative names, as the company has not officially commented on such devices. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G intends to be the most robust version of the line, with more refined specifications and the novelty of the 5G connection. A cheaper version of the line, but which will also feature 5G technology, will be known in China as Redmi Note 9 5G, however, in the rest of the world, this device should arrive under the name of Redmi Note 9T. And a third version should be released for less demanding users or lower purchasing power with only 4G connectivity.

Confirming rumors, informant Lu Weibing announced on the network that the most refined version of the line will arrive with the Snapdragon 750G processor, a good performance option without raising the value of the device to the public too much.
On the social network Weibo, other details of the device have been circulating that confirm its other specifications. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will feature a 6,68-inch LCD screen and 120Hz refresh rate. It should also arrive with a 4.820 mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging, a 108-megapixel rear camera, more NFC connectivity, headphone jack and IR blaster, technology that allows the device to be used as a remote control for other devices.
Weibing also released a photo of what could be the official box for the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, featuring a colorful design with cartoon character art.
