Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City received a new trailer, with focus in Claire Redfield, an important character in the saga, who will apparently be the main face of the new film in the horror franchise.
The new trailer released by Sony Pictures shows that after getting away from Raccoon City, Claire returned to the city with the intention of warning her brother Chris Redfield, also an important character in the games, about the problems and dangers that surround Umbrella.
In Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, Claire Redfield will be played by the actress Kaya scodelario, known for a variety of roles, including in the Maze Runner and Pirates of the Caribbean franchises.

It is worth remembering that the new film in the Resident Evil franchise will be a complete reboot of the saga in theaters, completely disregarding the films already released.
Now, the idea is to deliver a result more faithful to the original, with movies that will adapt the games known to fans, giving importance to characters that are already established in the RE universe. Welcome to Raccoon City will adapt the first two games in the franchise. The film will be released on December 2rd.
