Skate City Coming Soon to Consoles and PC

Snowman and Agens have announced that Skate City will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The title inspired by real locations will no longer be an Apple Arcade exclusive, coming to other platforms soon.

Skate City delivers a cartoonish look and allows players to perform tricks in locations inspired by Los Angeles (United States), Barcelona (Spain) and Oslo (Norway).

The title still has as a differential its lo-fi soundtrack, which was originally composed for the game with the intention of giving the players the feeling of a relaxing ride.

With several maneuvers available, the game offers controls that should be easy to learn, making it possible to perform many different moves. Skate City even features the ability to customize your skater and skateboard.

Game Modes

The title features two modes, Challenge Mode and Endless Mode. In the first, players must complete a series of challenges, while in the second it is possible to just explore the game's areas, enjoying the peaceful soundtrack and walking freely to perform maneuvers.

After some time out of the spotlight, skateboarding games are back in the industry with a vengeance. We recently saw the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, which even became the fastest title in the franchise to sell one million units.

In addition, the Skate franchise will also receive a new game soon, which will be developed by Full Circle according to the announcement made by Electronic Arts. According to information from EA, the development will have the participation of people of different nationalities and from different regions of the world, which should help create an even more interesting experience.
