Sonic Frontiers will have Spanish subtitles from Spain, confirms Sega

To the delight of Spanish fans, Sega confirmed that Sonic Frontiers will have Spanish subtitles from Spain. The game will be released with subtitles in our language, fulfilling a wish from fans of the franchise. The announcement of the PT-BR caption was made on the hedgehog's official Twitter.

Sega also revealed that the game will have English, German, French, Japanese, Italian and Spanish. In addition to the PT-BR subtitles, the game will also be located in Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Chinese subtitles will only be available on Xbox and PC.

On Twitter, the official Sega franchise account stated that the teams work hard to deliver the game's localization to the public. Check out the tweet below.

The PT-BR localization is very well received by Spanish fans, who have been eager for the news for some time. Most players demanded Spanish localizations from Spain, with these requests apparently being ignored by Sega. Now, the company finally decided to listen to Brazilian fans.

Charge on Nintendo for location in PT-BR

The location of the new game in the Sonic franchise will certainly increase the charge on Nintendo. Just like Sega had been doing, Big N doesn't seem to care too much with Spanish subtitles from Spain, although the Spanish market is profitable. In a video recorded for the Spain Game Show, Bill Van Zyll, Nintendo's director for Latin America, appeared speaking in Spanish and affirming the importance of the Spanish public for the company, but the stance towards location remains the same.

On social media, players, content creators, journalists and influencers came together to strengthen a campaign that asks The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 title location. Nintendo has yet to comment on PT-BR subtitles for the game, which remains without a confirmed release date.
