Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X get release date and price!

Midway through this week Phil Spencer surprised everyone by finally announcing the release date and pricing for the next-gen Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. . At this point, the fans probably looked at their wallets and thought: can I do the job? Because with the rise of the dollar in Spain, the values are not so encouraging taking into account the price charged by the current generation of consoles in the country.

According to Phil, the Xbox All Access subscription is the easiest way to purchase the newly announced consoles and still get new games to enjoy. But, unfortunately, even with the recent expansion of the service to 12 more countries, Spain has not yet been granted this benefit.

ICYMI: we're going into General Availability next week. wanna take this opportunity to thank everyone who gave us feedback (yes, even the ANGRY ALL CAPS kind) throughout the beta. we couldn't have done it without you guys!!!

According to Phil, the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles will be released on November 10th, meaning that in approximately two months the next generation consoles will be available for sale! However, the Xbox Series S should arrive at approximately the price that will be charged by the Nintendo Switch in Spain (R$2999), taking into account that its price in the US will be US$299, the same price charged for the sale of the Nintendo console.

As for the price that will be charged for the Xbox Series X, things get considerably complicated, as it will cost US$200 more than its smaller brother! Microsoft's most powerful next-generation console will come for US$499, that is, expect that in Spain the Xbox Series X will be sold in the range of R$5000 to R$6000 approximately (playing low).

    Xbox Series S specifications

Through Xbox Velocity Archteture technology and with hardware of the same technology as the Xbox Series X, the Xbox Series S will have the same benefits as its bigger brother, such as faster loading and Quick Resume. In addition, the small console will also feature HDMI 2.1, games running at 120, DirectX Raytracing and Variable Rate Shading. Microsoft's low-cost video game will receive technologies like Spatial Sound, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision through streaming apps like Disney+ and Netflix.
