Recently, Qualcomm released its new chipset, the Snapdragon 855+. Now, several brands are announcing smartphones with the new processor - and Xiaomi is one of them. The company's BlackShark 2 Pro gaming phone was spotted on Antutu with the Snapdragon 855+ recently.
The score achieved by the smartphone was 405,598. For comparison purposes, the conventional BlackShark 2 that has the Snapdragon 855 processor scored 367.354.
In addition to the chipset in question, the Antutu test also informed us that it will have a Full HD+ resolution screen, Android 9 Pie, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage - or at least this will be one of its versions.
The differences between the Snapdragon 855 and the 855+ are the Kyro 485 CPU, clocked at 2.96GHz and the Adreno GPU, which has a 15% better performance when compared to the conventional Snapdragon 855.
In addition to the data provided by Antutu, the BlackShark 2 Pro still had some features reported by the CEO of BlackShark Technology, Wu Shimin, and also photos leaked on the network.
Wu Shimin said that by combining the device's cooling system with its performance program, this will be the best performing smartphone in the gaming scene! As if that wasn't enough, Shimin said that the smartphone's touch speed has been greatly improved, reaching 43,5ms.
