The 2018 Smarter Living event was the stage for the launch of the Mi Band 3 in the country, in addition to the Mi TVs, luggage cart, air purifier and home security camera. This year is expected to update the products, and perhaps other news.

The Mi Band 4 follows in the footsteps of the smartband predecessor Mi Band 3. With a slightly larger RBG screen than the previous version (0,95 inches), the most notable differences are the color screen and the significant improvement in connectivity. The screen has a resolution of 240 x 120 pixels, in an AMOLED panel and protected by a layer of 2.5D tempered glass.

One of the benefits of an RGB screen is the possibility of customization, with more than 77 different themes and colors. The smartband resists up to 50 meters underwater, making it possible to use it in swimming activities. The battery also draws attention, having an autonomy of up to 20 days on a single charge.

As for sensors, Mi Band 4 is equipped with a 6-axis accelerometer, PPG heart rate monitor and sleep monitoring system. It is possible that Xiaomi will customize the Mi Band 4 to work with Google Assistant or Apple's Siri in this launch in India.

In addition, there is an NFC variant for payments directly from the smartband, and a limited edition of the Avengers, but these are only available in China so far. The manufacturer did not say whether it will also announce the Avengers edition in India.

The limited-edition Avengers variants come with custom wristbands, which can be a blue wristband with a Captain America insignia, a red wristband with the Iron Man mask symbol, and a graphite-colored wristband with the Avengers logo.

In India, the Mi Band 4 will cost Rs 2.000, which in direct conversion is R$114.
