Xiaomi has finally announced the release of the test program for MIUI 12.5, the company's own operating system and which was revealed during the launch event of Xiaomi Mi 11, a top-of-the-line smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer. Until then, only Chinese users could experience the new features that are being implemented in the beta version of the firmware, but the brand has opened the tests globally, thus allowing users from Spain and other countries to test the news.

Not all the company's cell phones are compatible with the update, that is, older models will be left out of the testing program. Although only the most current versions will be privileged with the system anticipation, it is likely that Xiaomi will release the stable MIUI 12.5 update for older models, such as the Mi 8, a device launched in 2018.
Applications for the program can be made until March 10th.

Rumors indicate that the company intends to release the first stable version of MIUI 12 (MIUI Global Stable ROM) in the month of April, but there is still no official information from Xiaomi.
