YouTube for Android and iOS now has night mode

This Tuesday (13), YouTube announced that it has started releasing a new feature in the interface to the YouTube apps for Android and iOS. The feature in question is the night mode, which provides better vision for users when they are in dark places.

Night mode for YouTube on smartphone will appear available in the settings menu and will need to be activated by the user when he finds it necessary.

It is worth mentioning that in desktop browsers, YouTube already has night mode, which can also be activated through the settings menu. With the function, the colors of some interface elements are inverted, turning the white background into black and the black letters into white. The function, for computers, has been available since last year.

For now, the night mode has started to be released only for iPhone, that is, for the iOS system. Android devices need to wait a little longer to receive the function.
