This year Apple officially launched the AirPods Max, the company's first headphone and which hit the market costing more than R$6.500. For 2021, Apple is likely to launch the AirPods 2 in two versions, one of which is smaller. The headphones will be direct competitors of the Galaxy Buds Pro, which will be announced on January 14th along with the next smartphones in the Galaxy line, being the S21 Series.
AirPods 2
Rumors indicate that Apple is working to change the design of the AirPods 2, thereby presenting users with a device with a new and different construction from the previous generation, something that was criticized by the brand's customers. The most basic version will probably not have active noise cancellation, a feature that is usually only present in the more expensive versions.
The image confirms that Apple will be releasing a smaller and a larger version of its upcoming AirPods Pro. The new leaks, however, suggest that the AirPods Pro 2 will still feature the manufacturer's H1 chip, which supports Bluetooth Bluetooth 5.0, a connection technology that ensures less energy consumption. The handset will also support a "Hey Siri" speakerphone and comes with lower latency (delay) compared to the W1 chip released in the first generation AirPods.

Launch
For now, we don't have much information about the release date and availability of the next generation of AirPods, however, leaks suggest that the headphones will be released during the first quarter of 2021, but there is still no official information from the company.
