All the latest and greatest in terms of smartphone components can be found in the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The most robust device ever released by Apple brings together, among its main features, the advanced A14 Bionic processor manufactured by Apple itself, in addition to a beautiful set of cameras and a high performance screen. And the screen is precisely the subject of today, as this component of the device was tested by DxOMark analysts and its result was very pleasing.

The analysis performed by DxOMark personnel involves a wide range of tests that configure objective and perceptual accuracy under controlled conditions in the laboratory and in real life as a user usually uses in his daily life. iPhone 12 Pro Max screen took second place

The final test score reached 88 points, guaranteeing it a second place in the ranking of best results, and being behind only its most direct competitor, Samsung's Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, which achieved a note of 89 points, just one more than the Apple device. This second place already housed another device, the OnePlus 8 Pro, which also has 88 points and currently shares second place on the podium with the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The test result was positive, as expected, as it is a device full of modern components and much more expensive compared to others available on the market. In the final test scores, the reviewers point out that the iPhone 12 Pro Max actually has an excellent overall performance, displaying content accurately and legibly under most of the tested conditions, even when adapting image coloring and brightness.

"Because of its size and price, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max may not be for everyone, but it continues in the brand's tradition of producing quality devices that retain a loyal following. The iPhone 12 Pro Max's display does nothing to appeal to. this tradition. It excels in video playback, with great brightness for HDR10 content."

The only negative points that were presented during the tests is the presence of a yellowish hue that becomes visible in still images and videos, and this directly impacted the final score. Another criticism points to the need for improvement also in brightness levels, which were considered weak, especially in tests with darker environments. There is also a downside to the blue light filter which generates an orange cast in darker areas which directly affects readability.
