    Android 12: Google releases beta 2 with more privacy and network connectivity

    During the Google I/O that took place last month, the Search Giant announced the beta version of Android 12, the company's new operating system for the mobile department and which promises several significant changes.     One of the main changes was the replacement of the "Wi-Fi" button in the quick settings panel with the "Internet" button. Devices with Dual SIM technology will also have the option to switch to the desired carrier.

    In the privacy control panel, the interface became more intuitive with the aim of helping the user to keep track of how and which applications are using their personal data. With this, it will be possible to have greater control of the applications that need your personal data to work.

    However, it is worth remembering that for this, application developers will need to follow Google's guidelines. As with iOS 14, the Android 12 will display device microphone, clipboard and camera activity indicators, for example, when such applications enable these features.
