Apple confirms event date that may announce first ARM-based Macs

Yesterday, Monday (02), the apple company began to invite people linked to the press to the new event scheduled for November 10 at 14 pm (Brasilia time).

The event was titled "One More Thing", which in free translation means "One More Thing", referring to the words of Steve Jobs, who usually said this in the final moments of events in order to announce something new about the company. This topic used by Steve was separated by Apple and from now on there should be an exclusive event about the releases.

    Releases

The publicity of the event should be precisely to announce the launch of the first line of Macs with Apple Silicon processors. The intention is to replace the line of processors for desktop computers that had been supplied by Intel partner since 2005.

The company has not yet spoken in fact about the releases that will be covered in this new event, but according to rumors, Apple should really confirm the beginning of the transition of processors, as already announced that would happen at WWDC 2020.

This will be the third release in three months. In September we had the launch of the Apple Watch Series 6, the watch with the ability to measure the level of oxygen in the blood and also the Apple Watch SE, a cheaper version of the watch; and new iPad models. In October, the company also launched the iPhone 12 line with 5G technology, and the HomePod Mini boxes.

    Performance

So far, what has been speculated is that the Apple Silicon chip, made with ARM architecture, can be used in a simpler Mac, and also in a more robust version such as the MacBook for example. Processors with this type of architecture are extremely common among today's gadgets on the market, and provide self-performance, just like iPhones and iPads that run with Apple's A series of processors.

To compare the performance with other processors, for example, tests were carried out with the A13 Bionic, now obsolete, and which outperformed AMD's powerful Ryzen 9.

From an energy point of view, the ARM architecture also stands out with very low power consumption. A laptop, for example, could operate for more than a day without needing to recharge the battery.
