Apple iOS 13.1 Arrives Today, Fixing iPhone Security Issues and Bugs

iOS 13 is barely out and it looks like Apple is rushing to release a new update to fix bugs in the new system, including a bug that simply leaks information such as full name, address and credit card information to other users.

The information came via Reddit, where two users reported that when trying to update their credit cards with iTunes, using the method of photographing the card, when saving they saw other users' data saved in place of theirs, with complete information, such as name, last name, full address and the last 4 digits of cards of other users of the service.

iOS 13.1 appears to be released later today, September 24th, after reports of problems with iOS 13 after its installation.

It is definitely absurd that such sensitive user data could be leaked to other users. This is not normal as many say, "in new updates there may be some bugs". No, that cannot happen.

In times when the lack of security and privacy haunt everyone, it's amazing how a company the size of Apple releases a new version of its system with the above saying on its website. While user reports show that the system is not at all secure.

In fact, we all know that Apple anticipated the release of its system and that may be the reason for the appearance of several reported bugs and a security problem that allows, for example, a possible attacker to bypass the lock screen protection.

While Apple released several features in iOS 13 that give users greater control over their privacy, it was seen that OS apps would not accept a command to "Never" access the location. Instead, it would automatically change back to "Ask me next time".

Many people aware of these issues are still waiting for the updated iOS 13 version before installing it.

I'm an Android user, but what I always say is valid for any and all operating systems and applications in general, never, EVER, install a BETA version on your device, usually this is done by developers, or curious people who insist on installing for later complaining that feature X, Y or Z doesn't work (Hello, it's a BETA version, you install at your own risk, so don't complain, okay?!).

So if you've already installed iOS 13, it's a good idea to pay attention when the next update arrives and install it as soon as possible.
