Apple revolutionized its line of computers with the arrival of its new processor with ARM architecture, at the end of last year. The chipset called "Apple M1" is a proprietary project of Apple that entered to replace a long partnership with Intel, until then supplier of processors of iMacs. This processor was so well received by fans and critics, that a new model is already in production.
According to a report released by Nikkei Asia on Tuesday (27), the Apple M2 will be the new processor for the next MacBooks, with delivery expected in July this year, for the launch of the products in the second half of 2021.
TSMC, a Taiwanese semiconductor company, is largely responsible for manufacturing Apple's new proprietary chips. The expectation is to launch the new MacBooks by the end of this year already with the Apple M2, as well as being integrated into other company computers in the near future.

This also applies in relation to its specifications, which until then, we have only been informed that it will maintain the same "system on a chip" (SoC) scheme as the M1. Like its predecessor, the new chip should enshrine a new generation of Apple products thanks to its outstanding performance, in addition to low power consumption, which fully integrates with the old operating system, the new macOS Big Sur.
In addition to the newly released Apple products, the Apple M2 chip should also appear in the company's next notebooks, with the purpose of announcing a new MacBook Pro with ARM architecture, HDMI port and memory card reader.
