As of today (17), Apple will allow US users to download all their company data, all following the mandatory feature for EU citizens. The download tool can be accessed through the company's data and privacy page.
Possibilities include device sync data such as iCloud bookmarks, as well as iTunes purchases and retail level information including Apple Care support. In order to receive the data, users will have to authenticate with their Apple ID.
The availability in question comes as part of the launch of a revamped privacy page, which emphasizes Apple's data retention policies as well as differentiated privacy efforts.
The page encourages users to enable two-factor authentication and even offers the option to opt out of Apple's targeted ads and notifications.
