Apple now requires apps to use the iPhone X's Super Retina display

Apple has officially confirmed to developers that new App Store apps must support the iPhone X's super retina display starting in April. As such, applications need to be compatible with the functionality of the iPhone X to be able to provide consumers with the same experience.

Apple sent an email to developers to encourage them to use all the features of iOS 11, mentioning that the device can provide a "smarter, unified and immersive experience with Core ML, ARkit, camera APIs, domains SiriKit, Apple Music integration, iPad drag and drop, and more."

It is worth mentioning that the company, even though it encourages developers, does not force them to use all the features.

Many apps are already working with iPhone X screen, including YouTube, SnapChat, Google Maps, Facebook, Netflix, Reddit Mobile, Twitter, Imgur, Messenger, Spotify, Super Mario Run, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Alexa, 1Password, Hulu , Google Photos, GarageBand, and others.

The Apple company also hopes to bring news to iOS 12 and end some problems that bother consumers.
