Apple in its official store has started selling an adapter that allows you to charge the iPhone while listening to music with traditional headphones with a 3,5 mm plug.
As of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, the manufacturer no longer included an input for classic headphones. The smartphone is only compatible with a Lightning connector or via wireless communication, i.e. via Bluetooth. For those who used to recharge their smartphones while using the headphone jack, it became a big problem, as the two functions are aggregated in a single port.
Manufactured by Belkin, the dongle is recognized and authorized by Apple. It's a little bigger than Apple's official 3,5mm headphone adapter, with both ports on the same accessory, next to each other.
It is worth noting that since 2015, the company has made available for purchase in Spain a dock to listen to music and charge the iPhone battery.
The accessory for being sold in the official Apple store is recognized by the iPhone as a legitimate product. Other dongles with the same functionality can be purchased at other stores, but these may have blocking problems, due to the security contained in the device's firmware.
The accessory, in Spain, costs R$ 379. Abroad, the same product costs US$ 34,95, the equivalent of R$ 110.
