Apple unveils new iPad mini with Apple Pencil support

After three and a half years, Apple finally updated its iPad Mini. The model arrives with last year's A12 Bionic processor, 64 GB storage and even support for the stylus pen. The price of the device is $399. Apple also revealed a new 10,5-inch iPad Air for $499.

The iPad Mini update comes in silver, gray and slightly pink gold. The model can still be upgraded to 256GB of storage for an additional $150 and can also be configured with LTE for an additional $130.

The design of the device remains the same, with large bezels at the top and bottom of the screen. The model is already being made available for orders from this Monday (18).

The iPad mini monitor has also received several updates. It appears brighter, with the display of more colors and even Apple's True Tone technology, to be able to automatically change the color temperature to match the environment in which the tablet is inserted.

The iPad mini camera, it seems, remains the table, however, the selfie camera has been upgraded to the 7-megapixel sensor. The device received support for the Apple Pencil.

The updates were announced through a press conference. Apple has an event scheduled for March 25, where the company is expected to reveal the details of its TV streaming service and news subscription service.
