A Google initiative, named Project Zero, has a mission to find bugs and vulnerabilities in various platforms. According to the new report released by the experts, which aimed to analyze the browsers, and even the main software of the genre, showed 31 failures during the year. Most of them were centered around a single application.
Right now, many of you are waiting for any name but Apple's Safari. However, to everyone's surprise, the Apple browser had 17 bugs identified by Project Zero. The other browsers evaluated did not perform poorly, as is the case with Chrome, which had only two bugs identified, being the best evaluated.

The reported bugs have already been fixed by their developers. Such problems were identified by Domato, Google's software. Recently, he had his source code made available by the company for free.
Apple, which saw its browser with the most bugs, ended up making efforts to correct the weakness of its browser's rendering engine. The company even hired a former member of the Project Zero team and even accepted the help offered by Google itself to solve the issues.
"To try to resolve this discrepancy [between Safari and other browsers], I contacted Apple Security proposing to share tools and methodology", said Ivan Ftratric, one of those responsible for the project.
"When one of the Project Zero members decided to move to Apple, he contacted me and asked if the offer was still valid. So Apple received a copy of the report and we hope they will use it to improve WebKit."
