Did you come back there? Google pronounces on the fall of its services this morning

Did you come back there? Google pronounces on the fall of its services this morning

On Monday morning (14), many users took to social networks to complain about the downfall of Google's main services. Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, Google Play and Google Meet platforms experienced instabilities, and when they were accessed, they displayed an error message saying that the page was temporarily unavailable. Not even the company's search page was operating at 100%, and for some users the page didn't open or load slower than usual.

Records on the website DownDetector show that problems with Google's services began to go down around 8 am GMT. Soon after, a flurry of complaints and jokes about what happened circulated on social media.

    Problem solved

It didn't take long, and around 9:30 am, access to most of the company's services was back to normal. From the looks of it, only Gmail is still having some kind of problem with login authentication, and over time the system will return to operating normally for all users. At the time of writing, we have tested all affected platforms and are working normally.

"Today, at 8:47 am (Brasília time), Google suffered a drop in its authentication system, for approximately 45 minutes, due to an internal storage quota management problem. high error rates during this period. Authentication error resolved at 9:32 am. All services are restored. We apologize to those affected and will conduct a thorough review to ensure this does not occur again in the future." - said Google.

    Out of breath (again)

This year, this is not the first time that Google services have gone offline. Recently, on December 4th, Google experienced similar issues, and just like today's crash, issues started to be pointed out at 8 am, resulting in instability on the Gmail, YouTube and Google Drive login pages.

Last month, the issue also occurred overnight on the 20th of November, and several of the company's platforms were affected.
