Google announced, this Wednesday (24), a new application for organizing and storing photos: Gallery Go. According to the company, "Gallery Go helps smartphone novices easily find, edit, and organize photos, without the need for high-speed internet or cloud backup."
The launch took place during the annual Google for Nigeria event, where the giant seeks to bring innovations that are useful to people in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
According to Google, Gallery Go stands out in three different ways: organization, editing and practicality.
starting with organization, the giant guarantees that the new application organizes the photos automatically, separating them by people or things. With this, the user doesn't need to name or create specific albums manually - the app does it itself.
Still in this field, Google says that Gallery Go does not use mobile data from the cell phone for this and the app works with the SD card, which makes it possible for photos to be imported from the device to the app.
Na edition, Google thought of people who don't have much knowledge of advanced tools. With this, the application offers an "automatic" editing option - with just one click it is possible to improve the image. Other than that, there are still several filters available to be applied to the photos.
Lastly, practicality. According to Google, Gallery Go takes up only 10MB of mobile storage. This means that the smartphone will not slow down and will allow the user to have plenty of free space for other priorities.
