Google usually invests in solutions that help people learn, especially when it comes to programming. This time, the search giant has just made available an application that has already been talking about, for those who would like to enter the world of codes.
The company launched through the Area 120 initiative, the application called Grasshopper, which according to company employees, has as main objective to teach programming to anyone who wants to learn in an intuitive and easy way.
For this, it was designed with a very playful look, bringing several challenges to teach the basic Java Script language in a simple way. The app has three sets of lessons that cover coding fundamentals. Initially, the app starts teaching Java Script using a mix of exercises, with multiple choice questions and with more in-depth texts for better understanding of the student.
According to the search giant's employees, after getting through all the most basic processes, users will be able to move on to phases with more advanced content in HTML, CSS, Java Script, algorithms and Coursera web design. However, not all next steps are free.

In addition, the application has a feature called Code Playground, where the user can test other combinations of features and functions, putting into practice the lessons learned in the classes.

The Grasshopper app is available for Android and iOS platforms, however, its content is still entirely in English, which makes the learning process difficult for Spanish users who do not have knowledge of the language. On the other hand, for many it is already a way to get used to the programming language.
