iOS 14: Gmail Can Now Be Your Default Client

Apple in iOS 14 introduced a new feature that allows users to set third-party email and browser apps as default alternatives to Mail and Safari.

While Apple has built-in system-level compatibility, individual app makers must add support to their apps to take advantage of the feature.

In a tweet, Google said that standard email client support is now available for Gmail in the latest iPhone and iPad OS update.
