iPad Air 4 will arrive in March 2021 with Apple's A14 processor

iPad Air 4 will arrive in March 2021 with Apple's A14 processor

Rumors about the launch of the next generation of iPads are appearing more and more frequently. Previously, it was reported that the iPad Air 4 would receive an official Magic Keyboard cover. Additionally, it would ditch Apple's proprietary lightning port and switch to using USB-C ports.

Now sources claim that the iPad Air 4 will feature Apple's A14 processor and 11-inch LiquidRetina display. The information doesn't stop there, there are rumors that point to versions with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of internal storage, with a suggested price starting at US$649.

Apple also plans to update its premium iPad Pro lineup between September or October. In late June, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, known for providing early information that is most often confirmed, spoke about Apple's plans to change the shape of future generations of iPad tablets.

In particular, in the second half of 2020, he expects the launch of the iPad Air 2020, whose component supply will start in the third quarter. In addition, the cost of this model may be below the US$499 currently charged for iPads Air, as Apple will follow the new strategy outlined by the iPhone SE 2020, which confirms the latest report from Taiwanese suppliers.

And that's despite the fact that the gadget will receive noticeable improvements, including a new chipset (presumably A13 Bionic) and an increase in screen diagonal to 10,8″. Also, according to the latest rumors, the iPad Air 2020 could become Apple's first tablet (not the Pro series) to switch to USB-C port instead of Lightning.
