Apple announced three sizes of iPhone 12:

While there was speculation that the iPhone 12 Pro display might have a 120 Hz refresh rate and a ProMotion display (like the iPad Pro), this turned out to be just a rumor.
Both the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 refresh at 60 frames per second, or 60Hz. Most smartphones today are like that. But some, like the Galaxy S20 and OnePlus 8 Pro, refresh at 120Hz. The higher the refresh rate, the faster and smoother your smartphone will touch when browsing apps and websites.
OLED
Another major iPhone 12 upgrade over the iPhone 11 is in the display. While the notch is still around to house that selection of sensors needed for FaceID, there has been a big change in the bezel technology.
The iPhone 12 now has an OLED panel, which is a notable upgrade over the iPhone 11's LCD. The new 6,1-inch OLED screen should deliver brighter, more vivid colors as well as perfect blacks. Apple claims the iPhone 12 has a Super Retina XDR display, with 1200 nits of brightness and full support for multiple HDR formats.
Processor
Whenever a new iPhone comes out, we also know about a new A processor, and that's taken for granted. The iPhone 12 is equipped with the A14 Bionic chip as usual made by TSMC.
It's made with TSMC's new 5nm technology, which alone provides 15% speed gain or 30% power consumption reduction (or a mix of the two). Also, you can add Apple optimizations and improvements.
Apple claims that "The A14 Bionic is the fastest chip in a smartphone. And it pushes all limits. Whether it's processing trillions of operations in the Neural Engine or shooting in Dolby Vision — something even professional cameras can't do. It's also very efficient. , offering longer battery life, plus it's ready for the future. That's plenty of power for whatever's to come."

As is often the case with Apple releases, the iPhone 12 has upgraded camera features over the iPhone 11 - especially the iPhone 12 Pro models.
The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini largely follow the camera design of the iPhone 11, with regular, ultra-wide and selfie cameras. But they also offer Night Mode shots that now work on both the ultra-wide and selfie cameras, and an improved HDR mode for scenes with both light and dark elements.
The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max meanwhile get major photographic improvements, including a larger image sensor and a fourth telephoto camera for more distant subjects as well.
The iPhone 12 Pro has the same 2x zoom telephoto range as previous iPhones - a 52mm equivalent focal length - but the Pro Max extends to 2,5x zoom or a lens equivalent to a 65mm lens.
Despite this, the iPhone 11's camera doesn't miss much, as it has a night mode and a wide-angle camera that can add extra detail to photos, along with a great video camera.
The addition of 5G
Arguably the biggest news for the entire iPhone 12 lineup is the 5G connection. Several Android smartphones have launched with 5G this year, and the technology has even reached much cheaper smartphones, so it was time for Apple to "get moving".
All 12-line iPhones come equipped with a 5G connection, however, you will need to be in a 5G area and have a proper 5G contract to access these faster speeds.
If you're in the UK, all the major networks have 5G services active and have been continuously improving since many of them came online over a year ago.
While the iPhone 11 is no slouch when it comes to data speeds, it is limited to 4G networks. But if you're thinking of switching from iPhone 11 to iPhone 12 just because of 5G, know that at least at this point, it's not worth it, as the technology will take a while to arrive in Spain.
It is not yet known how a 5G connection will affect the battery life of the iPhone 12. Apple is rumored to have abandoned the idea of a screen with a 120 Hz refresh so that 5G would not detonate the device's battery.
Price
The iPhone 12 mini is the cheapest in the range, starting at $699. The regular iPhone 12 is $799. Both come with 64GB of storage as standard; The 128GB model costs $50 extra, while 256GB costs $150 more.
The iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max start at 128GB of storage, and cost exactly what the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max did: $999 for the smallest model and $1.099 for the largest.
In keeping with tradition, Apple is retiring the 11 Pro lineup while preserving the industry-standard iPhone 11. That device cost $699, and now starts at $599.
