The iPhone XS is very similar to the iPhone X, mainly because it's basically the same. Inside, there's the A12 Bionic processor instead of the X's A11.

It's the first 7nm chip in a smartphone, beating Huawei's Kirin 980 processor on the market. And the new iPhones have a 6-core CPU, with two high-performance cores and two high-efficiency cores. The former can be 15% faster and 40% more energy efficient, while the latter is capable of being 50% more efficient, according to Apple.

The company also said that the Apple A12 GPU can be 50% faster than the A11 found in the iPhone X. Apple also says that the A12's neural engine is designed with 8 cores for better operation management and power efficiency, citing half an hour extra battery life on the XS compared to the X.

    Conclusions

If you're looking for the fastest smartphone in the world, then you will probably want to trade your iPhone X for a new Apple model. In fact they have much more processing power.

Another reason that could lead you to make an exchange would be have a bigger smartphone, and in this case, we're talking about the iPhone XS MAX. But the value is greater, so prepare your pocket.

Now, if the screen size and performance of your iPhone X satisfies your needs, then we believe there is no reason to make an exchange. The iPhone X is aesthetically the same, has virtually identical cameras, taking photos and videos with the same quality.

In our opinion, it would be disadvantageous to exchange your iPhone X for an iPhone XR, given that this rookie is worse than last year's model in several aspects.

The exchange for an iPhone XS can be interesting in terms of updating, with a model practically the same, but with greater performance, and perhaps with more internal memory capacity (512GB version).

Switching to an iPhone XS MAX is a good choice for those who want a bigger screen, with more processing and perhaps more internal memory (512GB version).

Another reason that may lead you to want to have one of the iPhones launched in 2018 is the possibility of using two chips at the same time, this feature is essential for many people, who need to use more than one carrier and have always missed it on the iPhone.
