MIUI will receive similar feature to Google's Digital Wellbeing

Last year, Google introduced Digital Wellbeing, a tool that shows in detail how much time you spent using a particular app or how many times the screen was unlocked, for example. However, some manufacturers decided to create their own system to warn about the importance of taking a break from the virtual "world".

Zen Mode is the solution developed by OnePlus that can be found in the brand's latest models. Now Xiaomi wants to deliver a similar tool to its customers, as the head of MIUI has announced that the interface will receive the "Focus Mode" feature, which is currently only available in the developer version.

This feature will allow users to select five different settings: 20, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes. During this time, the smartphone will be completely unusable, even if you restart it, something very useful for those who need to focus on some task or simply want to "disconnect" from social networks.

Unfortunately, there is still no information on when Xiaomi intends to release "Focus Mode" in the stable version of MIUI. In addition, we also do not know if this tool will be available for all models, but it is quite likely that all devices that run MIUI 11 will be graced at some point.
