Motorola Experience promotes panel on technology and social inclusion, with a teaser of future products at the end.

Today the Motorola Experience event took place, held at Louge Bienal in São Paulo, capital. The event was held for the launch of the Motorola G8 Plus, G8 Play, Motorola One Macro and Moto E6 Play. But not only that, the event opened with a panel on technology and society, with the participation of Bacu Exu do Blues, youtuber Dani Noce, Demetrio Teodorov and Paulo Cuenca as host. Motorola's global design director, Rubens Castano, made the product revelations, gave a teaser about future smartphones and also commented on the technology manufacturer's market strategy.

During the panel that preceded the smartphone announcements, the central conversation was the role of technology in our lives. Much has been discussed about the democratization of content production, access to content and speech power. Bacu Exu do Blues spoke representing minorities. As a black man from a poor background, he rose in his musical career precisely through the power of social networks. It is no longer necessary to have a large structure or studios to produce video or music. Thus, he acquired a voice in the midst of so much social invisibility.

Dani Noce, on the other hand, talks about how she transferred the traditional confectionery course she took in France for two years to free and accessible content on Youtube. This extremely elite content, and which she claims has changed the life of a subscriber who sent her a message thanking her deeply for giving her the knowledge to gain her financial independence and separate from an abusive husband. Dani got emotional on stage.

Demetrio Teodorov mainly comments on how technology is interacting more and more organically, with voice commands and gestures. It would be a way to increasingly include technology and its ease in an increasingly delicate way while maintaining our human social characteristics.

Towards the end of the panel, Rubens Castano, Motorola's global design director, takes the stage. Before revealing the new products, he commented on the current strategy of the brand. Motorola is now working on renewing release cycles, making it faster to produce new products to keep up with the technological demand of the market. In other words, there will always be some Motorola product with the latest technological innovation. However, it can also show an even more accelerated strategy of programmed obsolescence on the part of the company, encouraging consumption with constant news, however, is it really that they intend to maintain the durability of smartphones? In any case, no one wants an obsolete cell phone anymore, and increasingly obsolescence comes faster.

Finally, Castano announced a small teaser of what to expect in the future. Motorola is to launch "soon" smartphones with 64MP camera and Pop-Up selfie camera. That's all, without further details. We can only wait to see how "soon" these news are.
