    New Moto Nio! Smartphone was seen receiving network and battery certifications

    It looks like Motorola's new flagship is really going to happen. The long-awaited Moto Nio is a smartphone that will make a significant advance in the manufacturer's device portfolio, and after several rumors talk about its development, what we now have is confirmation of the certifications of the FCC and TUV regulatory bodies.

    The Moto Nio was spotted on these platforms carrying the name XT2125-4, and the expectation is that it will arrive with the Snapdragon 865 chip that was launched by Qualcomm in the first quarter of 2020. The certification carried out by the FCC that appears on the network this time states that The device will come with 5G network connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), a connection that consumes little energy.

    What do we know about Moto Nio so far?

    Little is in fact concrete, but according to previous rumors, we can expect the Moto Nio to arrive sporting a 6,7-inch display with FHD+ resolution and an unusual refresh rate of 105Hz, which is apparently just a test version, that is, the final version of the device approved by Motorola should arrive with a 90Hz refresh, the closest to the standard.



    In terms of cameras, it is believed that on the back the Nio will have a triple lens module, which will be formed by a 64MP main lens, plus a 16MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth-of-field sensor. The device's operating system must be Android 10, which should be upgraded to Android 11 shortly after its official release.


    Top of the line? Moto Edge S should arrive with Snapdragon 888 and curved edges

    Last Monday (11), Techlifers reported that an alleged teaser about the Motorola Edge S appeared on the net indicating that this will be a device powered by a Qualcomm 800 series processor - believed to be the 888 or 865, both released in 2020. Moto Edge S might be the retail name for Moto Nio for other markets, however, we don't have any confirmation at this time on that.
