Tuesday (12) was marked by the launch of a new line of smartphones from Apple. At the time, Apple presented the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X, the first borderless device manufactured by the company.

All devices came at a higher price than the company usually charges in that category of products, with a slight increase in the 8 and 8 Plus models, and still reaching almost US$ 1.000 on the iPhone X. Even so, analyst Iana Fogg , Senior Director of Mobile and Telecom at IHS Markit, believes the device will be a bestseller, with consumers not caring about value but focusing on the user experience.

"..AR will take longer to become popular on Android. As a result, Apple will be able to get some more sales until Android catches up in 2018."

The iPhone X will be offered in 64 and 256 GB versions, and will cost, respectively, US$999 (about R$ 3107) and US$ 1.149 (about R$ 3573).
