The Mac Studio and M1 Ultra announced by Apple were likely the star of the event for many. Faster than the Mac Pro and Mac Mini, Mac Studio promises insanely high performance and energy efficiency at the same time.
The structure of Mac Studio is similar to that of Mac Mini, but it is considerably taller. According to Apple, its dimension fits under most monitors. Furthermore, the company claims that even under high workload, its computer is silent. This is possible thanks to a cooling system that uses two coolers to pull the cold air under the case and expel it at the rear.

Lots of connections to work
One thing that impressed and probably pleased many professionals was the large presence of connections. The Mac Studio has 4 Thunderbolt 4 ports on its back, a 10Gb ethernet port, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port and a headphone output. On the front we have two USB-C ports (10 Gbps on the M1 Max chipset model, 40 Gbps on the M1 Ultra variant) and an SDXC card slot.
Support 4 Pro Display XDR and Wi-Fi 6 monitors
In addition to the large number of ports, Mac Studio supports up to four Pro Display XDR monitors. Also, for fast wireless connection, Wi-Fi 6 is supported.
The new M1 Ultra
The new M1 Ultra chipset that will be offered as an option in Mac Studio, along with the M1 Max, brings 3,8 times the CPU performance of the 27" iMac and up to 90% faster than the 16-core Mac Pro. M1 Ultra supports up to 128GB of memory, has 20 CPU cores (16 high-performance and 4 efficient), 64-core GPU and 32-core neural processing.
Apple's new processor, the M1 Ultra, is, according to the company, up to 8 times faster than the M1 of the latest Mac Mini.
