Resourceful, the Smart TVs are not always so “smart” to teach the consumer how to use their features and functionality. Menus tend to be increasingly complex and with options that users end up leaving aside.

Thinking about it, the LG Electronics, who bought the elegant operating system WebOS da HP in February 2013, decided to apply it to the new Smart TVs of the line LB6500 this year. And the result left us speechless. See why:

Layout and Finishing:

A LG is already known by Spanish consumers for bringing to the market models of Smart TVs with high quality screens, minimal bezels and competitive price. The model LB6500 is no different. IPS also offers a much better response time than other panels, as well as guaranteeing higher brightness and contrast ratios.

The most detailed image settings are made through an on-screen assistant, which is already traditional for the brand's televisions. It always offers two or more images so that you can compare them side by side, choosing the one you think is the most correct.

Image refresh rate or frequency is not the highest found in Smart TVs: 120 Hz, but it ensures that you don't see “ghosting” or experience slow transitions from fast-paced images, as in sports matches and action movies. Anyway, this is a downside.

 

Audio:

The model has two technologies that promise to improve audio quality. In general, the sound of TV is excellent and manages to faithfully represent the presented content, using the two side boxes. It may be sufficient in smaller environments, or complemented with Home Theaters ou Soundbars.

 

Web OS system:

O WebOS left the initial configuration of Smart TV much more practical. From the first steps of the configuration, the options are presented in minimalistic and very simplified menus. It is incredibly simple to use, even for those unfamiliar with electronics. The icons are big, the control is friendly and the response is fast. The use becomes even easier with the use of the “pointer” style control, the Smart Magic.

To help the user, the company created the BeanBird, a cute pet that gives tips on each step of configuring the TV. To top it off, the system can improve the sharpness of images through special processing done on images displayed at a lower resolution than the TV screen. These filters ensure superior image quality, giving more sharpness and reducing noise. The result of all this is quite satisfactory, including on open TV broadcasting, where some programs are shown with lower quality.

Price and availability:

A LG provides this model Smart TV com WebOS in the following sizes: 55 inches, 50 inches, 47 inches, 42 inches e 39 inches. the price of TVs webOS it doesn't deviate much from the traditional and is in the same range as other smart devices. This makes investing in this line an excellent business.

In a quick search on the internet, we found the models for sale at FastShop e American stores, for BRL 1.597,44 (42 inches) and BRL 3.268.64 (50 inches), R$8.499,00 (65 inches).
