Having an iPhone is the dream of many people, certainly. However, due to its high value, many are unable to purchase the product and end up opting for models from other more affordable brands.
For everyone's joy, or not, a store in Malaysia decided to do a mega promotion, however, what was supposed to be a great success, turned into chaos.
Retailer Switch has opted to burn its stock of demo products, most of which are a bit old. Among the devices were iPhones (models 5s through 7), iPads (Mini, Air and Pro), Apple TVs and Macs of all kinds. However, what was not reported is that the amount of devices on sale was extremely limited.

The discount, of course, attracted thousands of people. Many people camped out in front of the store 19 hours in advance. More than 11 people attended the event, which had 200 products for sale at the advertised price.
The mall couldn't handle such activity. The lines left the store and reached the outside of the mall, passing through the parking lot and going around the complex several times. The intention was to give passwords to the first buyers, however, the situation got out of control.
For security reasons, the store had to end the promotion with no return deadline. "We did not expect this magnitude," the statement said.
The store also took the opportunity to announce other discounts, of course much more subtle. Products with reduced values, sold out.
