According to a CNBC study called the "All-America Economic Survey", about 64% of Americans own at least one Apple product. The survey also showed that homes in the United States have, on average, 2,6 Apple devices.
Such numbers represent a considerable increase in sales by the American company. In the last survey, carried out in 2012, the indexes showed 50% and 1,6 products in each house.

The number eventually rises to 87% when it comes to Americans earning over $100.000 a year. To top it off, the average number of products per household for the richest increases to 4,7, while that for the poorest is one per household.
"I can't think of any other product - especially one with a high price tag - that has this kind of audience penetration and level of growth," said Jay Campbell, an expert at Hart Research, one of the survey's drivers.
In Spain, however, Apple's situation is very different. According to a survey carried out in July 2016 by Folha de São Paulo, Tim Cook's company would have dropped to less than 5% market share, a 40% drop in iPhone sales compared to the previous year.
