WSJ says iPhone 8 will be revealed on September 12

Apple, it seems, already has a date to reveal its new iPhone. According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple has set aside September 12 to launch its iPhone 8, as well as the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus.

The event in question should be quite special, as it will mark the tenth anniversary of the brand's smartphones, and the company would be considering holding the presentation at the still-unopened Steve Jobs Theater, inside Apple's new campus in Cupertino.

However, recent drone footage shows that construction may not be completed until the 12th. Many machines are still present at the site. Inside, we still don't know how the situation is. The company, for that reason, would have a plan B, which would be the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, where the company made the last two big announcements.

According to the newspaper's publication, North American operators have already been informed about the launch date so that they can prepare the marketing material. There is still no information on when the devices will be available for sale.

In addition to the three smartphones, the launch of a new edition of Apple TV is also expected, with 4K and HDR transmission capacity, as well as a third generation of Apple Watch.

Apple, however, has not confirmed any of the information.
