Since the Mi 11 was announced in December last year, many rumors have been airing on the net about the Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Lite. The three devices should finally be announced at an event scheduled to take place next Monday, March 29th. But before the official announcement, a source revealed the full datasheet of the Mi 11 Lite, including its price range.

The information comes from the Winfuture portal, which shared information about specifications, high-quality images of the device, and the reveal of 4G and 5G versions of the Mi 11 Lite. As its name suggests, the device should present the functions and features relevant to the Mi 11 family, but with modest hardware and a more affordable price.

Mi 11 Lite technical specifications

As already mentioned, the Mi 11 Lite will have two hardware versions, and for that, the Snapdragon 732G processor was chosen, which will be introduced in the 4G version, and the Snapdragon 765G, slightly better than the previous one but with the main difference in supporting 5G .

In the memory department, the 5G version will be offered in two options: 6GB + 128GB or 8GB + 128GB for RAM and storage respectively. In the case of the more affordable edition with support for 4G, we also have the option of 6GB + 128GB or 6GB + 64GB. Apparently, these are the only differences between the two models.

The Mi 11 Lite's screen is composed of an AMOLED panel of Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) with a small hole in the upper left corner to house the front camera, which in turn, has a resolution of 20MP. In addition, the screen will have a refresh rate of 90Hz and must have the fingerprint reader being inserted under the screen. The source did not reveal the size of the display.

On the back we have a triple camera module consisting of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and finally a 5MP sensor for macro or depth of field use. Both versions will leave the factory running Android 11 under the MIUI 12 interface, and will be powered by a 4.250 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The source also reports that Xiaomi has removed the P2 connector for 3,5mm headphones.

Price range and release

On March 29, Xiaomi should finally announce the Mi 11 Lite 4G, 5G and the other beefier models in the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra series. It could be that the company also announces, or at least hints at, its first foldable smartphone Mi Mix 4.
