Android Oreo: list of smartphones that will receive the update "There is a good chance that Samsung could start a beta testing program for early adopters, as it did for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Once the beta update has been fully tested , it can be released worldwide much faster than last year," the site posted.

SamMobile even posted a list that contains more than 15 Samsung devices that should receive the operating system. Among them appear the Galaxy Note 8 and S7, as well as the A7, A3, J7 and J5 from 2017, among other models.

    Improvements

Even without a precise date for when Android Oreo should arrive for the Samsung S8, some improvements in the devices can already be described, such as better system fluidity, speed of startup of the device, limitation of background tasks to save battery, auto -form filling, Picture-in-picture mode, among others.

To top it off, the Android Oreo update will still have new emojis to customize messages, as well as grouped notification channels, a new codec for better quality audio playback via Bluetooth, and much more.
